The Office of Research and Global Relations (ORGR) became the university’s change agent when it was established in 2015 by the University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City. To meet accreditation requirements, the university sought the expertise of Dr. Jonel Saludes, a Balik Scientist from Washington, U.S.A. to lay the foundation for what was initially known as the Office of Research, which evolved into the Office of Research and Global Relations (ORGR). In August 2023, it was again renamed as the Office of the Vice President for Research and Global Relations (VPRGR).
